Peter Hillert wurde 1961 in Baden-Baden geboren. Sohn des Fotografen Hubert Hillert und dessen Frau Gerlinde, wächst er als einer von drei Brüdern in einem von Fotografie und Musik erfülltem zu Hause auf. Im Alter von zwölf Jahren bekommt er seine erste Gitarre und gründet geraume Zeit später mit seinem Zwillingsbruder Rolf (Schlagzeug) die erste gemeinsame Band Faustus, später folgte die Formation Patchwork. Sie spielen regelmäßig Live Konzerte und bekommen ihr TV Debüt in der Sendung "ARD Talentschuppen" (SWR) mit Bill Ramsey. Nach der Schulzeit schließt Peter erfolgreich eine Ausbildung im Fotografenhandwerk ab und beginnt seine Karriere im Modeverlag Anne Burda in Offenburg. Seit 1986 arbeitet er als freiberuflicher Fotograf für Werbung, Industrie und Kunst im In-und Ausland. Seine Foto-Kunst erscheint und wird distribuiert im Verlag International Graphics, seine Musik ist in dem global veröffentlichten Imagefilms des Unternehmens zu hören. Die Liebe zur Musik ist Peter´s ständiger Begleiter. Über vier Jahrzehnte widmet er sich der Musik spielt regelmäßig Jam Sessions und wirkt bei mehreren CD-Produktionen im Studio eines Freundes in Frankreich mit.cMit der Schauspielerin Johana Munzarová aus Prag gründet er das Duo "PoetryinMusic", (LoungeJazz in der Welt der Poesie) und produziert hierfür das Album "Invictus". Sie performen dieses Album erfolgreich LIVE in Hotels und Clubs. Die Synthesizer-Gitarre ist neben der Kamera sein zweites Werkzeug. Er entwickelt seinen eigenen Musikstil. Durch innovative Gitarrentechnologie erzeugt er polyphonische Klangwelten, die unmittelbar mehrdimensionale Klangbilder vor dem geistigen Auge des Hörers erscheinen lassen. Peter´s Musik ist feinfühlend in ihrer Melodie und zeitlos in ihrem Groove. Respektvoll und emphatisch zieht sie ihre Bahn, charmant und elegant uns in ihren Bann. Sie offenbart die Symbiose des Sehens und Hörens und somit den Einblick in die kreative Seele des Künstlers.

Peter Hillert was born in 1961 in Baden-Baden. The son of photographer Hubert Hillert and his wife Gerlinde, he grew up as one of three brothers in a home filled with photography and music. At the age of twelve, he received his first guitar and, some time later, founded his first band Faustus with his twin brother Rolf (drums); later came the formation Patchwork. They performed live regularly and made their television debut on the show ARD Talentschuppen (SWR) with Bill Ramsey.

After finishing school, Peter successfully completed training as a photographer and began his career at the fashion publishing house Anne Burda in Offenburg. Since 1986, he has been working as a freelance photographer for advertising, industry, and art projects both in Germany and abroad. His photographic art is published and distributed by International Graphics, and his music can be heard in the company’s globally released image film.

Peter’s love of music has always accompanied him. For more than four decades, he has devoted himself to playing and composing; he performs regularly at jam sessions and collaborates on several CD productions in a friend’s studio in France. Together with Czech actress Johana Munzarová from Prague, he founded the duo PoetryinMusic (lounge jazz in the world of poetry) and produced the album Invictus, which they successfully performed live in hotels, bars and clubs.

The synthesizer guitar is, alongside the camera, his second instrument. He has developed his own musical style — through innovative guitar technology, he creates polyphonic soundscapes that immediately evoke multidimensional sonic images before the listener’s inner eye. Peter’s music is sensitive in melody and timeless in groove. Respectful and empathetic, it traces its path charming and elegant, drawing us under its spell. It reveals the symbiosis of seeing and hearing, offering a glimpse into the creative soul of the artist.

Peter Hillert est né en 1961 à Baden-Baden. Fils du photographe Hubert Hillert et de son épouse Gerlinde, il grandit avec ses deux frères dans un foyer imprégné de photographie et de musique. À douze ans, il reçoit sa première guitare et fonde quelque temps plus tard, avecson frère jumeau Rolf à la batterie, son premier groupe commun, Faustus, suivi plus tard de la formation Patchwork. Ils donnent régulièrement des concerts et font leurs débuts à la télévision dans l’émission « ARD Talentschuppen » (SWR) avec Bill Ramsey. Après sa scolarité, Peter termine avec succès une formation dans le métier de photographe et commence sa carrière chez l’éditeur de mode Anne Burda à Oenburg. Depuis 1986, il travaille comme photographe indépendant pour la publicité, l’industrie et l’art en Allemagne et à l’étranger. Son art photographique est publié et distribué par la maison d’édition InternationalGraphics, et sa musique est utilisée dans le lm d’image diusé dans le monde entier par cette entreprise. L’amour de la musique est le compagnon constant de Peter. Depuis plus de quarante ans, il se consacre à la musique, joue régulièrement à des jam sessions et participe à plusieurs productions de CD dans le studio d’un ami en France. Avec l’actrice Johana Munzarová, originaire de Prague, il fonde le duo « PoetryinMusic » (LoungeJazz dans l’univers de la poésie) et produit pour celui-ci l’album Invictus. Ils présentent cet album avec succès en concert dans des hôtels et des clubs. La guitare synthétiseur est, à côté de l’appareil photo, son deuxième outil. Il développe son propre style musical.
